Gefsinus traces its roots back to Crete. The company was founded by Manolis Vavourakis in Rethymno in 1992, with the opening of its first “Quick & Fresh” croissanterie.
In 1994, the business expanded into event catering and developed partnerships within the tourism industry under the Gefsinus brand. In 1999, the company entered a new phase of growth, beginning its operations in educational institutions throughout Crete.
