Implementation of sustainable development principles through the rational use of natural resources,
monitoring energy and water consumption, with the aim of reducing the carbon footprint. - Recycling of plastic, metal, and paper materials.
- Management of organic waste from production facilities.

Production of renewable energy through privately owned photovoltaic systems, covering up
to 30%–32% of energy needs. - Renewal of the truck fleet to minimize carbon dioxide emissions.
- Replacement of most of the Group’s passenger vehicles with electric vehicles.
- Use of natural gas to reduce emissions.
- Cleaning of production facilities with water consumption control systems.

Solidarity | Innovation & Solidarity Center
The Innovation and Solidarity Center was established on the initiative of the CEO of Gefsinus Group, Mr. Manolis Vavourakis, with the aim of fulfilling the Group’s commitment and vision to provide meaningful support to its people and their families.
Through the allocation of part of the annual profits of all companies within the Group, we actively support social impact initiatives with tangible results .
Solidarity is a core value that extends across all aspects of human life, as well as the challenges related to access and inclusion.
Gefsinus Innovation and Solidarity Center promotes solidarity towards the Group’s employees and their families through initiatives focused on the following areas:
