The Group is seeking an Accounting & Payroll Assistant for a position based in the northern suburbs of Attica.
Role Purpose
The successful candidate will provide accounting and administrative support for a specific project, handling the relevant accounting entries, invoicing, reconciliations, and payroll monitoring activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review submissions through the ERGANI Information System, including employee hiring declarations, contract terminations, work schedule submissions, and working-hour amendments.
- Calculate and process payroll.
- Conduct weekly reviews of digital work schedules and manage timekeeping records and the Digital Work Card system.
- Submit employee leave records and annual personnel statements, record sick leave, and manage salary advances.
- Communicate with all relevant managers regarding payroll-related matters.
- Record purchase invoices, expenses, and other accounting entries related to the project.
- Issue invoices or support the customer and partner invoicing process, in accordance with the project’s requirements.
- Maintain organized records of invoices, contracts, and other supporting documentation.
- Monitor outstanding tasks and deadlines related to the project’s accounting and payroll activities.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Five years of professional experience in accounting, invoicing, bookkeeping, and/or payroll support.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using ERP systems, preferably Entersoft and/or Pylon Payroll.
- Knowledge of fundamental accounting principles and a good understanding of payroll procedures, employee leave management, and the Digital Work Card system.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
